Students plant and celebrate bur oaks

Three classes of elementary students from St. George’s school on Keyworth Ave. planted two bur oaks and spent time in the presence of two large bur oaks on Sept. 26, National Tree Day.

Adults in Champlain Park neighbourhood and three teachers from St. George’s worked together to give about 70 students an experience that was both fun and educational.
