National Tree Day, Sept. 25

Updated: Apr 22, 2020

Join your neighbours and special guests for an evening event to celebrate National Tree Day (and our bur oaks) in Champlain Park from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Weds. Sept. 25. We will provide hot chocolate, storytelling (from a neighbourhood orator), and introduce some special guests.

We have planned an OUTDOOR event. Bring a chair if you wish to sit. If the skies bring rain that evening, the event will be cancelled.

View our Poster National Tree Day 2013. Share the invitation! Most importantly, come to the park for a chance to hear about the social history of our neighbourhood, and to learn more about the bur oak acorns that are so plentiful this year.
