Event linking trees and people set for Dec. 21

Kitchissippi councillor Katherine Hobbs will unveil indoor and outdoor installations erected by the City of Ottawa at a family-friendly event slated for Champlain Park fieldhouse on Saturday, Dec. 21.
The outdoor installation will feature a remnant from a bur oak cut in 2011 from Northwestern Ave. The indoor installation provides a timeline of important events in our community’s natural and social history. Both installations were funded, designed, and erected by the City of Ottawa.
