Champion Genes

This little survivor on Northwestern Avenue was planted by school children from St. Georges’ last fall (on National Tree day), and has come through the winter intact.

The old bur oak on Workman Avenue (below) is heavily stressed by recent construction, but could be "saved" by cloning. This would reproduce its genes for future generations.
